FACILITATING FUNCTION
This hands on lecture/laboratory course is designed to introduce a new paradigm of neuro-orthopedics based on the Feldenkrais Method®. Participants will explore how to
modulate tone in themselves and others as they review the developmental process.
After tone is altered, the primary factors involved in generating new movement habits and images of action will be examined and 6 laboratory exercises (3 each day) will be demonstrated along with supervised laboratory practice.
Special considerations for children and adults with special neurological needs will be discussed using case presentations.
